Caspian is now 2 weeks old and he’s a beauty. I must admit, I’m looking forward to seeing what he looks like when he grows up. He has a quarter horse butt and a thoroughbred neck. At two weeks he has beautiful from and movement. I’m excited about the future of this horse!

So tonight when I was working with Caspian, he got the hiccups. He didn’t seem too bothered by them, but they sure were loud. I did not know until tonight that horses can get hiccups, but apparently they can. Maybe I was making him work too hard? Or maybe it’s just because he’s a baby? Or maybe, I don’t know?

The first two photos are indicative of Caspian’s personality. Don’t let the last two photos fool you. Those are split-second blips in reality. He’s a challenge! Good thing he’s super cute.
